Hiking: the trail of the blue horse « pottokaren bidea »

There is a hiking trail crossing the four villages of the area. The path, signed by small blue horses drawn on rocks, is

named “pottokaren bidea” (the way of the horse), located between grassland and forests. The path is not difficult and is

even ideal for families or for not trained people. As 12 hours are needed to do the entire path, the most famous part is the one from the caves of Sare to the caves of Urdax and Zugarramurdi, as 4 hours.
